Default BBSIN - Blurred Black Skimmers in Naples

    Hi,

This is my first attempt to create a wanted blur using a longer exposure time (1/15s). I have seen many outstanding pictures already.
I want to show two of them created in Naples at the Pier as I do not know which one I like better.

The first is with the Pier in the background which adds some color contrast to the scenery:

The second shows breaking waves in the background and has some pastel look to me.

    C&C are greatly appreciated.

Second image for me, first one has a very busy B/G which is too distracting for my taste, really like the second one though.

    Nice work.

Hi Peter, please try to upload only one image per post.

I like a lot your idea and the result looks great to my taste. I think that, considering that this image is very artistic, I would go for a more saturated image to compensate the loss of details due to the slow shutter speed.

    Hi,

Thanks for the comments so far and I will try to upload only a single picture per thread.

@Toni: The BG might be a little distracting but I like the structure in it. The 2nd picture is nice as well. I will have to take a closer look at home on my larger screen.

@Juan: I will consider your advice and work in my calibrated environment and will keep you posted.

Take care and Good Bye Florida - for now,

    Peter

Peter, I love the second image- the colors are beautiful and the blur is just enough- I esp. like the 3 birds on top-If this were mine I'd hang it!!

I, too like the second the best. The first is interesting but I'm prefer just blurred birds rather than the structure as well. Well done.
