Brrrr! Nice image Katie. I like the contrast of the green and orange colors against the snow. It's been pretty cold in southern California also, at least by our standards!

Love the snow and greenery Real nice feel I like how you framed the image with the tree on the left Would have been neat to mount the camera on a tripod and maximize dof !! Do like it a lot as presented !!!

Katie, nice shot, I like the color tones and the scene created by the path, my only nit is I wish you had included the entire tree on left side, that's just a personal preference and your image looks very appealing to me as it is

What a view you have from your patio Katie! Like the blurred snow flakes and the colors, agree with Denise on the LH tree.

Worth framing just for the snow Katie! Wondering if it would have more punch by boosting the saturation up a little. Looks very well exposed.

For me this image has an wonderful feel of that first wet snow fall - half green and half white when the snow might stay or go. It probably doesn't stay very often in Vegas?
Having a collection of such images of our home places, including even identical compositions in different seasons can provide a wonderful photographic history. Freeman Patterson, well-known Canadian photographer, created such a book titled The Garden, about his home in New Brunswick.
I like this image very much
