Will sent it to Landscape Eric !!!

I like the selected shutter speed a lot. Might try cropping a little different, maybe tighter taking some from the top and left? Will wait to see what the landscape people think !! Excellent image !!!

I love most of the image. The only thing that distracts me is the twigs on the mid left.
Thanks for sharing it. Beautiful soft cascade of water, what shutter speed?

    Eric,

I like the comp with the triangle shaped rock in the FG but would have like to seen a bit more at the bottom (to give the rock showing to point into other the the frame edge) and at the top where the UR rock is clipped. I know it is hard to determine where to cut rocks in a stream but I will always try to not clip edges.

I reposted the image wit some additional post process work as follows using PSCS3.

    1) Shadows/Highlights with the following settings: Shadows 85/52/30, Highlights 65/25/30.
    2) Curves adjustment with the 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 tones anchored on the curve, I reduced the highlights some to bring down the contrast.
    3) Sharpened using USM at 175/.3/0 for one round and then 125/.2/0 for two rounds.

Shutter speed was just right for the flow affect. Please post the exposure and ISO along with equipment info. Thanks for posting.

    Hey Eric,
Very good advice offered above.......I would take a bit off the top.....with a crop to further strengthen the comp........and will add.........in the field.......next time..........try this with a circular polariser....to eliminate some/most of the highlights........since this will slow down the SS even more.........I would also recommend to put it on a tripod.......no reason to risk a blurry image due to shake.

I would crop as suggested and would have left put in more room at the bottom also. I think the repost is too light all around.
