Motif: Snow – “Cloud 9 Restaurant”

    Note: circa 2000.
This is a warm cozy restaurant on top of Aspen Mountain, Colarado where the skiers go for lunch after a long day in the slopes.

The image was painted with an Nikon F100, 35mm film camera, using a Nikkor 20mm f/2.8D AF lens. The negative was scanned into digital jpeg format.

    Comments greatly appreciated...

did you ever screw up a composition!!? this is pretty dramatic. makes me nervous just looking at it. thinking i'm going to fall off the side of that mountain!! i had a thought this morning while looking at some of your others: your photos with 35mm film show how much more of a dynamic range it has over digital. will be nice when they figure that out with digital!!!

MANY A TIME my good Doctor...MANY A TIME... and yes; I still have a soft spot in my heart for film, especially black and white...:D:cool:
I started with black and white; then went to color for awhile, and transitioned to color slides and back to color print, and now digital...
