    This little guy loves to call, and after every sixth call, they flap their wings and lift up one of their legs. Once you know their destinctive call, you can look in the nearest bush, and you will find them.

    Well done to capture this characteristic behaviour, Stuart. Nice light and sharpness. Slight wing blur captures the motion. Might tone down the sharpening in the "armpit" as it is accentuating the scruffiness of the feathers there, which are drawing the eye

    I like the light, eye contact and sense of motion. The open bill adds to it.

    Stuart, I'm just looking at my Newman's book and I swear I saw this little bird at Punda Maria in October. Was this taken in one of the "shuffling moments" or landing/departure?
    I like how you captured this ruffled LBJ. Pretty light, eye contact and nicely animated!

    BTW, what do you mean by partial metering?
