Our first good snowfall doesn't usually occur until mid-December, so finding a Snow motif image was a bit of a scramble. See what you think. Comments and suggestions much appreciated.

This is simply elegant, Gail. I like the crisp detail in the leaf, the diagonal lines and contrast with the snow.

Gail, the leaf is placed perfectly in the frame-there is good detail in the leaf-has a very rich feel to it.

Splendid image Gail, and love the sharpness and placement in the frame. Was wondering if it had a bit of a blue cast to it?? My.02 Just another option here for you.

Gorgeous - well I don't get snow here - come to think of it have only seen ity once in my life. Simple - effective - make a nice canvas hanging on the wall.

Thanks for all your generous comments, and thanks for the re-post Jackie. I agree that there is a slight blue cast, I want to keep some hints of texture in the snow though so ... ?

    Hi Gail,
If you wanted too maybe you could try desaturating the blues less in Hue/Sat. (Selected the blues, just click on the drop down menu under Master) I went to -100 percent. Also played around with the colour balance and went to the opposite of blue in the appropriate sliders. Just some ideas for you. Great pic!
