    this one still has slower shutter. i am changing from aperture priority to shutter priority. i am getting decent pictures with 1/400 s. i just have to learn how to control my shots.:o

    Mike this one of my favorites !!! Just take a little of the bottom. Good bg, I like the pose, head position and its sharp !!!

    btw you actually have little control of the shutter speed even going to Tv Its all about the light (which Chas was here, inside joke :) ) Even going to Tv if you don't have light you won't get the shutter speed.

    About all you can do is wait for better light or practice shooting a low shutter speeds every time you go out. Your ability to make sharp images will improve !!!! Did well here Proud of you !!!

    Much, much better Mike,
    I like this one, clean background, good color rendition and head angle. The only thing you need to fix is the cloning mark left behind to the lower left sector of your subject...:cool:

    Nice image - good feather detail, sharp, pleasant composition, good eye contact. In my opinion, the very nicest one so far.

    thanks guys. i was able to get 2 good shots of birds at about 1/400 s. i think you will like at least one of them. see you tomorrow in the AM.

    Looking forward Mike Remember trying one image every time you go out at a target (newspaper, magazine etc) at a slow speed so you can check for sharpness. With practice you will be surprised !!!
