    Not the pose I wanted. They puff up their feathers that their heads look like pompoms but I've been trying for weeks to catch one - unsuccessfully.:(

    This one I like a lot !! Pose is not bad at all and what a complementing bg !!! Sure wish you could have used a flash to give it a catchlight !!! Excellent image !!!

    Such vibrant colors on this bird, Jeni! Good detail and HA; I'm hoping you can get the pose you're after; would love to see it.

    Hi Jeni,
    I like the capture and image, you have good, sharp details and good color rendition with a soft pleasing background. My suggestion is to move the perch from the lower intersecting corner for proper composition...other than this, you have a lovely image...:cool:

    flash would have made it a little nicer, but it still presents well as is!! dont worry, your persistence will pay off!! you will get that shot!! patience is the key.

    Jeni, nice head angle and the showing of the feet I like-colors are vibrant and your BG is good-I feel like the tail needs a tad more room. Very nice shot! your lucky you have such a nice variety of interesting birds

    Hi Jeni - Like the pose and the BG - not sure if I am seeing a little bit of a halo around the bird or its just my eyes. :)
