    Everglades Sunrise - Pine Lake

Took out the 5d Mark II for a spin this morning to the Glades.

    This is a 3 image HDR taken at -2, 0, +2

Awesome light and the contrast in the clouds is amazing. Very nice work and the HDR effect looks great.

As a minor point would be to crop some of the brown area off the bottom, to focus more attention and the great sky and horizon.

I really like the top half of the image. The curved piece of grass on the bottom between the copyright sysmbol and 2008 really distracts me. I would think about getting rid of it by a straight crop from the bottom up.

Beautiful sky and composition. I would agree about taking a bit off the bottom. You have been catching some real dramatic landscapes. Enjoy seeing them...

    Michael,

The clouds are stellar, the trees and reflections a wonderful looking color and the water luminance but I agree with Robert on the bottom and with Rocky on that distracting blade of grass. Crop above it too strengthen the image IMO.

    Hey Michael,
Can't add anything.....except I do agree with above. You may be able to retain the 2 to3 proportions......by slightly taking off right and left. Really nice on the HDR.
