    Default Shoveler Female W/Water Droplet

    Well she showed up again and again I was lucky enough to be there.
    I do them only because there so rare here, and besides I think there beautiful.
    Taken in the Green Cay Wetlands with a Canon MK-II
    ISO = 320 at f/6.3 1/800th. of a sec. and a 100-400-L @ 400-MM

    I would prefer a lower angle othewise nice soft light and beautiful colors!

    Nice, Bill. Since taken at Green Cay where there is no chance for a real low angle, I think you made some nice choices by including the reflection of the clouds and the bits of duck weed. The drop of water, even in the reflection, is a nice touch as well. There is something unnatural tho about the color of the water and I think the shovelor could use another pass of sharpening.

    Lovely colours Bill, and the hanging droplet makes this for me. Well captured.

    I like the head angle, eye contact and droplet on the bill. Angle has been mentioned but the mood is very nice.

    Well done and sharp with a nice angled COMP. The blues look way funky from here, but I like this one a lot anyway.

    Thank you all for all the comments. I did not do to much to this image and the water color is from the reflection from the sky I think, which on that day was a beautiful blue.
