Default Little Egret (Egretta Garzetta) fishing...

I could observe this Litte Egret a few weeks ago when it was fishing here
in a small delta close to the Barcelona airport.

I like the scene overall, but there a couple of small observations to take note: head angle could be better (a bit more towards us, not much needed), CCW rotation should be done as the image is tilted down left to right, and there are a few bright reflections along the leg that could be toned down - as well as one on the bill's reflection (plus the smudge at tip). Lastly, a couple of white debris could be cloned out in the water. Individually they are all subtle changes...but together they would all add up immensly to the end result :-)

Exposure looks great, so does sharpness, and comp. I like the fish at the end of the bill, and also like the ripple in the water. Here is a repost with my suggestions above(but not much I could do with head angle though ;-) BTW I also eliminated the magenta cast in the water by using color balance in PS. Hope you like.

Nice repost by Daniel, although I kind of like the magenta cast in the water (could be a reflection of the clouds). The eye seems a little dull as posted and might benefit from a little brightening of the iris.

Well exposed on the whites, and pin sharp as Daniel has stated. Im glad you included the reflection, and well captured.

    Thanks for your replies!
Daniel Cadieux, I like your version of the image but I consider my version
more 'animate'... I don't know if you understand my point.
Furthermore do I try to use PS as little as possible, but that's just a personal
opnion. I thank you for your attention and your version of the image!

    Many greetings,
    Marion Ehrlich
