    Another from the refuge.

I like the colors, action, sharpness, but the background is a bit messy and I'm not sure about the crop. The bird is very centered because I wanted to keep the splash, but it might be stronger if I hadn't.

Let me know what you think.

    Hello Dan,
Naturally my first reaction was the centered subject but after seeing the foot print splash I felt the motion and the image came to life for me. The wing position, leg angles and splash makes this presentation an enjoyment to view. Keep the splash...

Cool takeoff pose, details and light. I might give it a bit more room on the right to fly into.

A bit centered to my taste but love the fantastic light, the action, colorus and sharpness. Great that you got the wing raised and I do not mind about the slight blurring in the wing tips becuase all the other parts are sharp.

Its always difficult to place the subject when you want to include the take off splash. If you add space to the right, you end up decreasing the size of the subject. I love the posture, low angle, together with the colours. Overall, an excellent image Dan.

Great action and colors! Could use just a little sharpening.
