Hi Yves - While I like the idea of the bird against the light and colourful water I am wondering if just a little lightening of the plumage would lift this image to another level?! The BG is simply superb as is the low perspective!!

I like the overall setting and B/G. The bird really could have used some fill flash to make it pop and to also add a catchlight in the eye .

Love the idea, agree that the bird could be lightened up to give it some "pop"

Hi Yves and welcome to BPN,

I have to agree, I love the BG but I rather see more details in your subject OR a full silhouette. Keep them coming.

    Thanks!
