Motif: Snow – “Birds of a Feather Stick Together”

Note: circa 1979. I found these little guys playing in the snow one early January morning, in New York’s Central Park West.

This was taken in Central Park West; early Sunday morning.
The image was painted with an Asahi Pentax ME 35mm film camera, using a Pentax SMC Pentax-m 28mm f/2.8 lens. The negative was scanned into digital jpeg format.

You are absolutely correct My dear Doctor; they are sparrows indeed. I remember it was so cold that morning, that it wasn't funny. After these little guys got tired of rolling and playing in the snow; they flew just a couple of yards to the pond to take a dip...:eek::D:)

Got a nice spread of birds with little overlapping !! Would like seeing them without the trunk Very abstract and beautiful !!!

Gus, Very different!-I don't mind the trunk-hard to get a grouping of sparrows that's appealing but I think you did.
