I did a slight twirl effect on this leaf floating in my birdbath

Lady Denise...I like the abstract composition. I modified your base image by cloning out the white stem from the bottom touching the leaf, because it brakes up the balance and symmetry of the composition. you want the curved lines to flow without any interruptions. I also boosted the contrast and adjusted the hues on the blues and the tones on the leaf; added selective sharpening and toned down the light areas on the upper left portions of the leaf. see if this presents well with you...you did good...:)

Excellent Gus! Working on my laptop and don't have lightroom in my laptop-My PC should be up and running by AM.

p.s-I wasn't sure where to put the stem-never thought to edit-good choice

I like Gus' repost...I didn't like the stem, either! I do love the opposing colors and the different yet similar "swirls" to each part of the image. Nice work!

I love how Gus you sharpened the water so every mm of it is clear and gorgeous and in focus. Beautiful!

The repost does it for me. Taking out the stem and showing more detail helps the image alot. Interesting composition!
