I was out photographing Egrets and Ibis's, when this collection of chicks came swimming by. The water was dead calm, thus showing up wonderful reflections. Something different I hope.

Lovely and close to perfect. I like the one without much of an eye-stripe. Well designed image. In a perfect worl the one in the back would have its head turned towards you and the last one would have been a bit slower, thus avoiding the merge with the back of the one inf front of it. SH and d-o-f (they must have been close) excellent. What focal length?

Love the colour and lighting and the clear water in front of the birds, and wake behind. It is such a lottery to get everyone facing exactly the right way and to have good separation in an image like this. You have come pretty close!
Thanks a lot for your kind words.
Artie, the focal length was 260mm as stated above. Yes, I was pretty close.
Thanks Stuart. I could have sworn that I looked before asking. Still a wonderful image.
