    This (juvenile I think) was at Boot Hill Cemetery, Tombstone, Az, and made a nice diversion from the graves of the Clanton Brothers, Big-Nosed Kate, and the other Wild West characters. The color of the background has not been altered, and was indeed the color of the earth and hills in the distance.

    D300, Nikon 80-400, hand-held, 1/2000, f8.0, -1/2EV, ISO640, no flash.

    Cute fella, but he looks rather miserable! The details look rough...was this a big crop? Interesting dry perch, I'm wanting to see more of it at bottom. There are a couple of small bits along bottom right that need to be cloned out...

    I like the eye contact, setting and complementing BG. I would also suggest a slightly wider crop.

    Like the bird and the BKGR. Looks pretty good to me but I do not have a good eye for fine detail. Excellent HA. Lightening the iris and darkening the pupil may give it more life.
