    This species was living at a Golcourse for a short while because he became a traffic victim.

    Olympus E3, Zuiko ED300 F2.8, Zuiko 2.0 converter, 600mm focuslength,1/1250sec, F7.1, ISO250, -0.3 stop

    What a beautiful specimen Alexandre. I like the composition, and the "studio pose". This image may benefit if you opt to lighten it a bit (perhaps by the 1/3 stop you originally took off). Sounds like it made a full recovery? Can you confirm that this was taken while the owl was still in captivity?

    Hi Daniel,

    The owl was not in captivity bud was free at the moment i took the picture. He hunted during the day time wich is very rare fore this spcies in Holland, and not afraid of people at all. A fue days later it was run over by a car and died inmidately:eek:

    I like everything about this shot Alexander, the crop, the lighting, exposure and colours. All are excellent. The classic look/pose of the bird is stunning. On a small note, I may have preferred slightly more lightening on the Owl, but this is minor when giving a critique, and to some degree personal. The bokeh is super. I am also quite amazed at the sharpness considering you were using a 2X TC, bravo to Olympus and Zuiko
