    Motif: Snow – “Dead Man’s Pass”

    Note: circa 2000.
    This is Dead Man’s Pass, in Aspen Colorado; one of the double black diamond slopes.

    This was taken mid afternoon around 300 p.m.
    The image was painted with an Nikon F100, 35mm film camera, using a Nikkor 20mm f/2.8D AF lens. The negative was scanned into digital jpeg format.

    Doctor Davis,
    I use a Microtek ArtixScan M1; dual media scanner. It yields a 4,800 X 9,600 dpi, and 48 bits per pixel. :cool:

    I feel like I could dive through the monitor and toboggan down that hill. (Possibly ski, doesn't look like a DD:)) Love the DOF and the view, very beautiful Gus! Must have been really high if you are looking down at mountains.

    Hi Gus;

    Another beauty, looks like it could be a ski race trail? We had one called the Kandahar where you raced through the trees in wet snow & 8' skies.

    Keep em coming . . love snow scenes.

    Uncle Gus
