Well managed flash resulting in nice light and well balanced with the BG. Focus on the head is perfect but I would prefer a bit more DOF to better define the wing converts and take a bit of the blur from the feet and perch. Adding a bit more canvas to the left would decentre the bird a little.

I dont mind it being centred but agree would have been nice for a tiny bit more depth of field. Otherwise a Great Siskin image.

Love the BG, pose and use of flash in the exposure...great work. Agree that a little more DOF would have been nice. I also like the composition as presented.

Great pose and my style would leave the d-o-f as is. Love the BKGR and the pose. The bird could use a a bit more room all around but do note that the bird is not centered; there is three times as much room from the bill to the frame-edge than from the tail to the frame-edge. Most importantly, the image as presented is way too dark.... All that I did for the repost was pull the curve up quite a bit.

Pepe you known what I think about this one and the long series of siskins that you showed to me yesterday and you know that I absolutelly agree with Artie about the levels adjustment :p;)

The eye contact is terrific and I like the pose and head position a lot.
