These guys were formally known as a Rock pigeon. They have the most peculiar eye, but I love their colours.

Nice bg here. Exposure handled well as well as getting a good angle with the light. Pose and detail good also. Nice image!

These are very attractive pigeons - they look far more exotic than the common Turtle Doves and Laughing Doves. Nice light angle and BG. Nice texture with the ruffled feathers. The shaded perch is a bit prominent so I might try dodging or adding a curves adjustment to a selection to lighten it a bit.

Interesting image. I had to look twice to figure out the shape of the perch but the biird was sitting just right. Nice BKGR and sharpness.

    Hi Stuart,

Really nice pose, BG...and a cool looking bird too. I'm not familiar with this species but wondered if a slight saturation and/or contrast boost might not be needed...it looks a little 'flat' to me (but again, could be my work monitor too).

    Cheers, Dean

Stuart, I think you have created a fine composition with this beautiful subject. The details of the bird against that lovely BG works very well. Congrats!
