    Default Orange-crowned Warbler

Despite these guys being very common here on Vancouver Island these guys can be tough to get a decent image of. Here's a very simple one from last spring on the Island...

    Camera Model: Canon EOS 30D
    Shutter speed: 1/500 sec
    Aperture: 5.6
    Exposure mode: Av
    Exposure compensation: -1/3

With the angled perch, it places the Warbler nicely in the image. You have exposed this very well Glenn, and what a smooth BG.

Well done, Glenn. Lovely and sharp, light angle and pose excellent. Maybe a smidgeon more room on top and left to decentre the bird a little but great as presented.

Wow, what a killer BG and pose. Really nice. I do agree with Tony about a little more room on the left and top (and perhaps bottom) of the image, but only a hairs worth. Would love this to be mine!

wow Glen I love the colors, the BG is superb, and the nice contrasting perch.

    Nice sharpness and soft light.

Agree with the extra room comments. I would tone down that hot spot on the perch, but other than those, I would leave it as is.
