It's been some time since I have posted here, hope to add a few more after this one.With bird photos at somewhat of a premium in St.John's these days until the lakes freeze, I've turned to photographing my dog.She is a Chocolate Lab,named Oriole. She is named after the first ever Newfoundland record of Bullock's Oriole, that spent most of last winter at my bird feeder.Unfortunatley the bird was killed by a Robin!!I thought this would be appropriate for the motif. The BG is a snow covered grass.

Just now looking at my pic. It looks really soft here and overall much worse than on my comp in PS. I will probably make another attempt and hopefully be able to provide you with a better representation.
Hopefully this one will look better. I'm not sure what happened above, the image was very sharp on my computer. It says the file was within the allowed size restrictions,but it showed as being 237K.Maybe because it was above 200 K it got compressed or something when posted. Hope this looks better.
