    Luck again played a role here, taken at the Green Cay Wetlands with a Canon MK-II ISO+400 f/5.6 1/200th. of a sec. with a +1.0 EC with a 400-MM - 100-400 - L

    All C/C's appreciated and more than welcome.

    I like the curious look. I would sharpen the bird more and wish the BG were less busy. The head angle is not ideal, either, since it is slightly angled away from you.

    Hi Bill,

    Have to agree with previous comments, but it is a gorgeous bird up nice and close. The other thing I noticed is that there appears to be a slight colour cast to the image - e.g. the leading edge of the perch seems quite blue, as do patches of the plumage (though I don't know this species so could be wrong here!). Could be easily fixed with a de-sat of the blues.
