I managed to get a few BIF shots it isn't all that easy with a 20D and 500mm & 1.4TC combo, once something goes out of focus in takes a while to get it back!:(

Having just looked at the uploaded image it does not bear a great resemblance to the original, it has lost it's clarity and there is noise around the edges of the bird - particularly the feet. This is not apparent on the original.
Nice find and BG. I wish the wings were either up or down and would crop a bit tighter. I agree regarding jpg compression, at 150kB it should look much better.
In addition to the small file size the two big problems here are the small size of the bird in the frame and the flat wing position as noted by Axel. I do like the BKGR there is just too much of it.
