just to try my new Nikon capture. shot some 10 years ago, so first scanned.
now: cropped the lower part(because too dark) slight treatment in curves and >saturation. Thank you for looking.

    Hi Valerio,
I like your base composition. Its a beautiful place...I made a few enhancements to your image, to bring it up to speed. I lightened the black areas and shadows to bring out the color and details. I cropped on all four sides of the frame, I increased saturation and contrast, and selective sharpened the boulders and rocks in the foreground. I was debating whether to tone down the whites of the light shining through the clouds; but decided to leave it as is...see if this presents better with you...

like what you did gus! glad you didnt mess with the bright lites. looks cool.. there still seems to be a blue color cast over the terrain. doesnt look like a natural color to me anyway. love your composition valerio. how was this picture taken?

Gus thanks, Yes exactly what I tried to do, but the working of Nikon Capture is not easy and simple perhaps I also confused the 'resample' of the image. Al: thanks.. are you in Romania?!would you go to Danube delta or are onlly for travelling? because I have somewhere the name of a man,a perfect guide of that area (one of greatest delta of Europe!!)
