    Default egret action

I took this a couple of days ago. When I opened it, I realized that the reflection is missing and I could easily get it in frame. Still, kinda like it:o.

    Camera: Canon EOS 40D
    Exposure: 1/2500 sec
    Aperture: f/3.5
    Focal Length: 200 mm
    ISO Speed: 640
    Exposure Bias: 0 EV
    Flash: Flash did not fire

I like the dark mood, the action, and the wake, but it is much stronger with a tighter pano crop that eliminates all the reflections except that of the neck...

That is gorgeous, and I agree with Artie the mood is awesome, but, still it is a bit TOO dark for me. But you got the shot perfect and believe me I know how fast those Snowies move! I like the lights in the water. Where was it shot?

Good original photo, but Artie's repost is a big improvement!

Love the unique action captured in this image and the dark BG creates a wonderful mood. The repost that Artie posted is very lovely. Many thanks for sharing.

I like the contrast in colours, and the pano crop works well.
