This is a different shot from last night post. Uhmm! I retouched it a bit. I'm having a bit of trouble with the highlights, NX2 shows me good exposure and when I convert to JPG and see the files on Aperture I get some burn HL. I played around, finally instead of converting to JPG I converted to TIF and adjusted a few more things with Aperture. I even cheated a little.

I expect your comments and advices! thanks again! Cheers!

HI Rene The in camera histogram should have shown the blown highlights Why don't you change your color space (in camera) to sRGB which will give you a narrower gamut and earlier warning. Won't affect the RAW file at all and will have the added advantage of seeing a truer color in your camera LCD screen. Got the tip from Robert O'toole and has worked great for me.

Image wise I might tighten from the left just a bit and the right is just taste. Do like the bg a lot !!!

I would make this a portrait, but leave some space for him to look into.

    Hello everyone!

Alfred.... You are right! I don' think I checked the blinkers or the histogram at all. i was so excited to see a cute bird. I don't have the chance to see them everyday! :) I already changed the settings to sGRB. i will check today how it works. i will blow some HL in purpose. Also someone told me I have to change the settings on NX2 (The sensitivity to HL and Shadows) I'll look into it. Thanks for your comment! Oh! I like the BG too! The problem is the subject! :)

Doug, I sent you the file already! Thank you so much! Just in case you know, I got a window here that says I got a PM message from you and it tells me to click on it to open it. i did and it says it CAN'T be open. I'm just telling in case it got to do with the updates you are doing! I use Safari. thank you!

Hi Rene! I had a look at your RAW file and the whites were quite overexposed (close to 2 stops). I was able to recover all of the detail in post-processing. And I took the liberty of performing a little sharpening and some work on the eye. The last thing I did was recrop it. How do you like the repost?

Doug... WOW! Hey! I knew I was going to like it before I sent the RAW file to you! Uhmm! I have to learn how to PP. Again, thank you so much for your time! I am just wondering what or how did you do it! :) Cheers!
