Came up empty on this attempt.

Once again - dark spot in the BG could be cleaned up. Made it a bit of a pano crop.

So wonderfully sharp and detailed, great exposure!! Not real sure about the black across the top? Super job Lance!

    Well done Lance,
I like the pano crop and the action I especially like the trashing of the water. The whites are in check with sharp details and definition. the color rendition is good...well done...

Hi Lance I think I would leave the bg as is Would rather not have the dark on the corner but if you are going to have it anywhere that is where you want it !!!

Cloning it out would be difficult to even out, like is said I don't suggested but for an exercise would try quick mask !!

    What do you think?

First used eye dropper to establish background colour. Then File>New, sized same as original, used 96 resolution, BG Colour> OK. Then moved original over new BG, and use Background eraser at 60% opacity around top of bird, then used eraser at 60 % opacity to clean up. Then Selerct All>Edit>Stroke and applied light 1 px border.

as much as some people may like the clean bg, i quite like the one in the original. kinda loses something when you clean it up! nice job with the bird, again!!

lance, how often are you using 3D tracking?

Hi Mr H - as often as I can - does take a bit of getting used to - dont quite trust it 100% yet. :)

Uncle Gus - awesome P.S. work - agree with Mr H though sort of looses something in the process.

Love the action Lance - super detail. Like the bg with it's contrast but easy to fix the dark spot if you wanted to. (I've learnt!!!)

Very nice! I like the action, composition, and sharpness/detail. I like the background as is as well.
