I was out birding in California's central valley fog yesterday and had the opportunity to play with my new little 10.1 megapixel Olympus Stylus 1050 SW P/S camera:D. This camera is about the size of a deck of playing cards:eek:. Capture was made in auto everything (f3.5, 1/125th sec.) except ISO (200). I then adjusted in CS3 - levels, saturation and shadow/highlights (on fall colored leaves only). Added "Orton" effect layers and then sharpened with Intellisharpen II.
I'm a big fan of Orton, fall colors, and California so this one does it for me in a big way! My only suggestion (and it is only a suggestion) is to tone down the yellow just a bit. I find that every time I do an Orton effect I get that crazy yellow thing going. Give a peak at pushing it a bit to the blue side and see what you think.
