What you are seeing in this image, is part of the feather maintenance behavior, of one half of, a mated mallard pair, that come to my pond each spring. I have always wanted to capture this action, now, thanks to digital I have.

The energy in this image is really exciting. On a technical note, I would probably lighten the drake's head and breast to bring him out a little bit more.
