    Default Striding Great Blue Heron

I reviewed some old images this weekend and thought I'd submit this one from last March at Blind Pass in Florida. A nearby fisherman passed the fish to this guy who grabbed and played with it but didn't seem interested in consuming it. This was processed several months ago and I think I added some canvas to the top.

I Like the light, striding pose and fish. Perfect sharpness on the head and eye. The BG works well as there are no broken waves cutting across the image. A little more room below and to the left would be nice.

Agree with Tony's suggestions Beth. Really like the striding pose.

Thanks for the comments! Adding the canvas is quite do-able so I'll give it a shot.

Very sharp and great angle to the bird. The fish looks a bit shiny and stiff... EXP and pose perfect. And yes to a bit more room in front.
