Dreadful light on overcast day - he moved so quickly from side to side trying to impress the female that I didn't think I had got him. Almost full frame, he's 9 -10cms and that darn tail is never-ending!

Hi Jeni,
I like the composition and capture. You have nice details and I like the wing spread. I would open up the blacks under the wings a tad more...good show...well done...:cool:

Great catch Jeni. That darn tail is fantastic but sure must make it a challenge to photograph.

I agree with Gus about opening up the blacks. In those circumstances I'd have probably gone for a slightly positive rather than negative exposure compensation and upped the ISO if necessary a touch to maintain shutter speed.
