    Hi folks:

Took a visit to Madera Kubo B&B, Madera Canyon, AZ, and found lots of new birds, though light was bad and I had to use flash we enjoyed ourselves for about 1 1/2 hours. Even had a piece of pecan pie that Cora had made . . Yummms :) Birds I saw today: Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Hepatic Tanager, Bridled Titmouse, Lesser Goldfinch, Magnificent Hummingbird, Acorn Woodpecker, Arizona Woodpecker, WB Nuthatch, Broad-billed Humingbird, Pine Sisken & Black-eyed Junco

    CC's Welcome & always appreciated

Hi Gus - good looking bird - exposure looks good, sharp details and nice catchlight in the eye. Wish the front of the bird was visible.

It's a beauty, Gus! I wish the crook of the branch wasn't cut off and the bird wasn't quite so centered (maybe a little shove to the right?) but everyone is right - light is beautiful and the BG and details are luscious.

Love it Uncle Gus. Beautiful light and details. Agree about the perch but it's still a fab shot.

I don't think I've ever had pecan pie. It sounds like I'm missing out...

    Cheers.
