    took this in my local wood,it was an overcast day,cannon 40d,400mm prime lens,1/400sec,f5.6,iso400,hand held.I know the kb size is only45.6kb,but it started 100 and odd kb,every time I save for the web,a photo for the BPN. sight,when I upload,it alters the kb size,it as done it with the other photos I have put on BPN.i HAVE had a word with tony whitehead on this sight,and he thinks I am doing things right,but there may be a bug on thesight.when I look at other peoples photos on here,there kb sizes look ok.anybody got any ideas,and thanks again tony for your help.

    Amazing colours captured on the Robin, Christopher. Comp wise, I would take off the bottom, and clone out the OOF twig coming out of his chest, and maybe the other twig in the FG. Keep them coming.

    Excellent job by Stuart above to which I would add that with the bird's head turned away just a bit, the eye is somewhat dead and there is little light on the face. I like the main perch.

    I like this species and the pose is very nice. Adding to the other comments, you could try to lighten the eye a bit.

    Excellent image. Agree about cloning out the branches in front of the bird, and lightening the eye might be something to consider. Perch and pose are very pleasing.
