You guys...shucks. :) It was just one of those things where you have an ugly photo of a beautiful flower and I just couldn't. let. it. go.

I'm so honored to have it chosen for the cover. I printed it out today to give to my best friend for Christmas (at her rather loud and persistant request) and it did make for a pretty sweet print.

I agree. Outstanding colour and technique Jules. I didn't see the original post so do not know how you made the image. Was the zoom effect in-camera or in post-processing?

It was in post processing, John. Look up to Fab's entry - she's got the link to the tutorial of how I did it.

It was a blast making the image and a blast seeing it every morning when I log onto BPN. :D
