    Default Histogram Check

Tuesday evening: a photographer checks the histogram on his camera, making sure not to blow the highlights in this crazy sunset. Sandhill Cranes are silhouetted in one of the crane pools at Bosque del Apache.

This is so cool! I love it in everyway...especially the fact we can see the same scene on the photographer's LCD.

Nice idea Phil and the image is well composed and balanced (FG person left with BG mountain right forming a diagonal) plus no merges with the person and the cranes.

    Hey Phil,
You did very well with the composition......as the others above have mentioned. New Mexico had some of the nicest sunsets I have ever witnessed......and yours lookes like no exception......nicely done!

What a neat opportunity to add something different to a beautiful sunset image. Love the LCD as well - that totally makes the image for me. Everything else is well composed and you did every bit as well as the other guy on exposure! Lovely detail in the FG water.
