I like the perspective and angle but it looks as if it needs some CCW rotation and more saturation and/or contrast.

Yep, I vote for more contrast. For some reason I don't mind the slant here. I also wish you weren't so low as I find myself wanting to see more of that bill grabbing some grass. Nice front-facing feeding perspective.
