En Mass
On my way home last night after looking for spoonbills. :cool: Blackbirds? were everywhere as I went over a bridge. Used railings for support, no tripod. 50pm. Bridge, boats and Yaght Club foreground.
Canon 40D, 24-105L, 1/1000, f/5.6, -.33 EV, ISO 3200 (no reduction) :(
Increased yellows in PS CS4 to bring out yellow/purple and ran noise reduction.
Other tweaks I forgot; Looked OK in CS4 but will see how it looks here. :)
The viewfinder is my guidance.
Yes, I quite like it. Lots of birds there! I don't mind the hand-of-man elements at all here, but this is also the reason I've moved your thread to the hand-of-man forum. Nice composition of keeping the horizon low, and the avian activity in the vast sky above :-)

This one is excellent.....yes...one of your best. I love the silhouettes of the birds, the color of the sky, and boats, docks, etc. Wonderful.....well seen and well presented.
