    Image from Ft DeSoto during one of the IPTs Artie is doing some shorebirds with a participant and its very much typical of what you can do. Stay low and wait for the to come to you. See in the bg people going about their business and birds all over !!! :)

    What amazes me is the people walking all over the place, birds walking in front of photographers its just a zoo !! Love it !!!

    Now I see how they get those shots! Birds in NJ stay at least 100 feet from anyone

    Hi Denise,

    Jersey birds are definitely more skittish, I'll agree with that. There are some places along the North Shore ponds where you can cut down the distance. We'll be there again tomorrow morning - starting at Manasquan and the Point Pleasant lakes and working our way north to Shark River.

    In Maine you have to drug them! LOL. Will be in Florida soon. From February the 8th till March 4th. Viera, Anhinga, Loop Road, Shark Valley, Joe Overstreet, o my! If anyone wants to go with me some of those days, e-mail me. I will be staying in Tampa with my friend. Will hook up with James Shadle for sure. See you soon buddy!

    Gray shoot a PM and will meet you in South Florida Loop Road has been quiet for the past couple of years but will give you an update on the other areas !!! The Boat with James will be a sensory overload !!!

    Yeah, where's the harm in laying in sand? It's not like you all are going to stand up with poison ivy/oak/sumac all over your body. :D:eek::D
