    Another good one Jim. Some might not like the stick across the body. I like it as part of the habitat and I feel it gives the image some balance as well.

    James, I like the bent over posture combined with the menacing look on its face. Agree with Joe that the stick and clam shell add to the image. Nice low angle too.

    I like the shells, but not sure about the stick...although I like the way it is balancing it up with its' leg. I see a stong reddish cast in this image. Here is a repost where I selected the owl and reduced the red saturation almost all the way completely. I kept the beach sand intact as I suspect it may have been closer to this colour, but you could also reduce the reds there too but much less drastically than on the owl.
