    This is the last fall shot of the year- I'll miss the colors only fall brings.
    I did a liquid blur on this with a twist

    Denise, this is very nice! I really like that along with the blurred areas, there are areas with sharp edges. I have seen your recent posts with blurs and thought that the elements missing were these sharp edges! Love this one!

    Dan, I just started doing blurs. I like them but have not quite got a hold on them-I will work hard at them until I get it. Thankyou for your comments -I like this one too!

    Excellent feel to this one Denise Blurs is pure experimentation and making lots of them to predict the outcome. I find color a significant part of blurs !!

    I'm with you...I already miss the blaze of fall color. This is very nice - really intense and over the top but a really good blur. Nice details and am just wondering how you did this? Did you use posterization to get the effect?

    Julie, I didn't use posterization- I used the equalize to get intense color along w/ added saturation -did a slight blur then cloned in extra texture spots and color and smudged them in- then added a slight swirl to add dimension
