    i just got microsoft expressions and came across an old photo taken in a state park in Delaware, and PA.
    i saw it and liked it so here it is.

    Hi Mike,
    The base image is under exposed and the leaf is too centered in frame...suggestion; I would add canvas to the left of the frame, in the direction that the leaf is pointing to; and crop 1/4 from the right side. also would lighten the leaf and make the entire background piano black, so that your subject can stand out. also increase saturation and contrast a tad. as presented, the image is flat...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    Agree with Gus !! Mike even for leafs we try doing the same thing as birds, centering detracts.

    btw the centering of images is a byproduct of using AF !!! When we used manual you would re compose after focusing but now we just press the shutter!!

    boy, these new digs are really great!! i can't believe its the same site.
    well, i did most of what you asked and made a successful print and gave it to my boss. she liked it so i guess that is all i need. sooner or later i will get this down pat.
