    This was my first time having an opportunity to photograph a Rusty. Beautiful plumage!
    We only get these guys for a few weeks a year as they migrate through.

    Model = Canon EOS-1D Mark II N
    Exposure Time = 1/800"
    F Number = F8
    Exposure Program = Manual
    ISO Speed Ratings = 400
    Metering Mode = Spot
    Flash = Off
    Focal Length = 400mm
    Color Space = sRGB
    Exposure Mode = Manual exposure
    Handheld using Bushhawk
    No setup

    Lovely bird, Jody. I love the range of colours and that eye. The BG work well but I would be tempted to darken the pale zig-zag through it. May be tempted to crop a tiny bit off the top and right.

    Superb plumage textures and color on this bird Jody. I think that you can crop a little bit from the right and the top. Glad to hear that you are back on bird photography :-)
