Nice silhouette David. I like that you got the heron's head in the lighter clouds making it the focal point of the image.

Nice silhouette...quite different from the oranges and reds we usually see with silhouettes. I would eliminate the vegetation in LRC as they do not add anything and I feel the composition would be stronger without them. I would also tone down the brightest part in the cloud just above the bill as that particular spot draws my eye to it. Overall very nice...good eye in seeing this :-)
