    The human perch is trivial in this image but this is the proper forum. A favorite from this week's shooting-notice the blood marks from a recent meal. Canon 300mm F2.8 x 2, ISO 400, car as blind

    Great image, Jeff. Bird seems a little tight in the frame, but that's just my preference. Love the BG and sharpness. You must have been right on top of him!! We get these guys occasionally this far south, but not often.

    A bird as beautiful as a snowy deserves all the space in the canvas that it can get. From all bird postings this is a good year to see them so I hope you have many more opportunities. Well done.
