I was finetuning my catalogue and came across this image.

This image is from the summer of 2006. It was a warm afternoon. I found him sleeping near the road in a grassland. Perennial streams convert this grassland into a swampy area and it is cool in the summer days for the afternoon siesta.

Canon EOS 10D, Canon EF 300mm F4 L IS USM, monopod, ISO 100 (I hardly used to shoot in any other ISO in that camera), f4, 1/750, full frame. Raw ofcourse.

    Look forward to your comments.

    Hi Sabyasachi,

Another very nice Tiger moment caught by yourself. I like the teeth and the shape of the mouth. I think it would be stronger were the Tiger a little further to the right ( or more canvas on the left ) and it looks a little soft on the head, maybe because of the yawn movement. The grasses to the RHS of the head look sharper to my eyes and I might be tempted to soften them or selectively sharpen the head a little more.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Austin

Nice image. Really like the open mouth. Would like to see a lttle more room on the left and just a little more sharpening.

    Sabyasachi,

I do like this one a lot. Agree with Dan on a bit more room in front and sharpening. If this is full frame, I would have sacrificed the virtual body on the right for more room on the left. I might also consider more off the top to just above the in focus stems of grass above the head.
