Default New Monitor - you may wish to consider this

Just a quick note for anyone considering a new monitor and don't want to spend an awful lot of money:
At last I bought a new monitor for my PC, I now use the old one at the side for the Adjustment Palettes. I bought the Eizo Flexscan S1921, it was £264 plus postage cost. In a nut shell it delivers the goods, I do not pretend to begin to know (or be very be interested) in the technical aspects but what I can tell you with confidence is that the image is beautifully clear and sharp and the colours are pretty darned accurate. My pal calibrated the monitor for me and as I understand it good colour rendition is attributed to monitors with an error of something like 1 to 300 delta somethings. This monitor came out at 100, it could have possibly been tweaked a little more but it would have required a lot more work. As I understand it, to get significantly better than this there would have to be a doubling of price so all in all I am pretty satisfied. I hope this may prove useful for anyone considering buying as I had visions of having to pay a fortune and it proved to be that it I did not.

If it performs well does look like a good deal, not familiar. Have been using the Mac monitors.
