Motif: Water – “Running From The Rain”

Note: circa 1981.
This was a typical summer down pour during rush hour, one Friday afternoon at the Battery Park area in the financial district of Manhattan in New York City. This was taken a few yards away from the local subway entrance. I guess this fellow was in a bit of a hurry; to get out of the rain, or to catch his train, or both…

The image was painted with an Asahi Pentax ME 35mm film camera, using a Pentax SMC Pentax-m 50mm f/1.4 lens. The negative was scanned into digital jpeg format.
