    Taken 11/29/08 at Bosque using Canon 40D, 300 f2.8 with 2x extender, 1/800 at f8 ISO 400, Had a great time.

    Nice composition, JP, and a great BG. There were a couple hundred cranes flying south over my house yesterday, so they are still streaming in. By the way, I like your reason for editing the above post!

    Hi JP love the pose and setting !!! I think it would be even stronger without the dark top? Would crop out !!! Really like this image !!!

    Glad you had a good time at the Bosque! I'd like to see a slight head turn towards us.

    I agree about the head turn, and the image seems very noisy overall - especially at top...is this a big crop? I like the vegetation in the BG and the layer of earth at bottom.
